This region also known as the Coastal Region is located on the western side of the country and stretches from the Erongo Mountains in the east to the coast in the west, the Kunene River in the north and the Namib Desert in the south.

Hunting is mainly conducted in the Erongo Mountain area, the Damaraland area and the area to the north known as Kaokoland.

The hunting in this region is mainly for plains game but in certain areas hunting of lions, leopards and other smaller predators are conducted with the necessary permits.
